Tata Motors Nepal has announced the revised pricing of the Nexon EV. The Nexon EV is available in three models (Prime, Dark and Max) and five different variants in the Nepalese market. The Nexon EV can do 0-100kmph in just 9.9 seconds. In terms of features, it gets Multi-Mode Regen, Automatic Brake Lamp Activation on Regen, Cruise Control, and Indirect Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (iTPMS).Nexon EV Max: Equipped with a 40.5 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack, the Nexon EV Max offers an ARAI-certified range of 453 km (under standard testing conditions). The Nexon EV MAX produces 100 kW of power and delivers an instant torque of 250 Nm, resulting in 0 to 100 sprint times in under 9 secs.The Nexon EV Max gets additional features over the standard Nexon EV. The features include a wireless smartphone charger, air purifier, multi-mode regen feature, electric sunroof, front leatherette ventilated seats, illuminated drive mode selector knob, cruise control, Harman infotainment system, auto-dimming IRVM, ESP with i-VBAC (intelligent – Vacuum-less Boost & Active Control), tire pressure monitoring system, hill hold and hill descent control, and disc brakes on all wheels, etc.Through the new budget, the government has added a 10 percent excise duty and 15 percent customs duty on EVs between 50 to 100 kW. Earlier, this segment attracted 10 percent customs only.
